Welcome to Timberlake
At Timberlake Church, our mission is simple: to help people find and follow Jesus. We’re a church that believes in practical teaching, engaging worship, and building a community where everyone feels at home, no matter where they are on their faith journey. With locations in Redmond and beyond, as well as online services, we make it easy for people to connect and grow in their faith.
our history
1989
On November 5, 1989, Timberlake Church launched in Louisa May Alcott Elementary School in Redmond. Seven families came together with a simple vision: to create a church where anyone could come as they are and find a safe place to encounter the transforming grace of Jesus.

1992
By April 1992, Timberlake Church had grown by 500% and the original space was no longer large enough to accommodate the number of people attending. The church moved to nearby Evergreen Middle School, continuing to build momentum and reach more people in the community.

2001
After more than a decade of meeting in rented facilities, Timberlake Church celebrated a major milestone in December 2001 when construction on its first permanent building was completed. Services began at the church’s current Redmond location, giving the growing community a place to call home for the first time.

2013
In December 2013, Timberlake Church became a multisite church with the launch of its Duvall location. The vision continued to expand with the launch of the Castle Rock location in September 2016, followed by Timberlake Online in September 2017, making it possible for people to engage with the church from anywhere.

what we believe
Our mission is to help people find and follow Jesus. We have an unwavering focus on seeing people discover the hope and joy that comes with having a relationship with Jesus Christ — that drives everything we do.
About God
He has eternally existed as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The three are co-equal and are one God. God is the creator and ruler of the universe.
Genesis 1:1,26,27; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14
About Jesus
Jesus is the son of God, co-equal with the Father. He came to Earth, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, and resurrected to reconnect us to God. He ascended to Heaven and will return to Earth someday to reign as King.
Matthew 1:22-23; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-15, 14:10-30; Hebrews 4:14-15; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Romans 1:3-4; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Timothy 6:14-15; Titus 2:13
About the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. He provides believers with an understanding of spiritual truth and guidance for doing what is right. He also empowers the Church with spiritual gifts to do God’s will and work in the world.
2 Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7-13; 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:12; 3:16; Ephesians 1:13; Galatians 5:25; Ephesians 5:18
About the Bible
The Bible was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs about living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without error in its original writing.
2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Psalm 12:6, 119:105, 160; Proverbs 30:5
About People
People are made in the image of God and are created to be in a relationship with Him. Each person has incredible potential for good and is also affected by sin, which causes us to be separated from God.
Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 14:6; 1:12; Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1
About Salvation
We can never make up for our sins by self-improvement or good works. We are only saved by grace through faith in Jesus and his work on the cross. Salvation is a gift available to anyone who wants to accept it.
John 3:16, 12:25, 14:2-3, 17:3; Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:15
About Eternity
People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence.
Genesis 14:18-20, 28:20-22; Deuteronomy 14:22-26; Malachi 3:10; Matthew 23:23; Luke 11:42; 2 Corinthians 9:7
About Baptism
Once we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior, water baptism is a public way to declare our new life in Christ. It is also a biblical command demonstrating our love and obedience to Jesus.
Acts 18:8; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 6:4; Ephesians 2:8,9; Colossians 2:12
About Stewardship
We believe everything we have is a gift from God. We give back to Him from our time, talents, and treasure as a reflection of our gratitude and to partner with God in building His Kingdom.
1 Corinthians 11: 23-26; 1 John 1:9; Romans 12:1
our Church values
We are life-giving and biblically faithful.
We are committed to the uncommitted.
We embrace the mess.

Groups
Groups are the best place to find friendships, experience community, and grow in your faith. In a Group, you'll find people that may live near you, are in the same life stage or share some of the same interests.

Outreach
At Timberlake, everything we do comes back to one mission: helping people find and follow Jesus. And that mission doesn’t stop at the doors of the church—it stretches across the street and around the world.
